Recent reports claim that the new iPhone will be available for pre sale on September 30 and go on sale on October 7. Although these dates are unofficial, it comes from several different sources. Since the final testing stages of the new iPhone has gone smoothly, we are less likely to to see Apple delay the release. As to whether it will be the iPhone 4s or the iPhone 5 is still not confirmed.
The two dates that Apple is debating to set the pre order date is between September 29th on a Thursday and September 30th on a Friday. Mostly like it will be the 30th according to couple of sources.
Apple’s fall event will take place in September considering the pre orders for the iPhone 5 will be end of September. Also, the first week of October is when AT&T implements data throttling and their new insurance plans. This sends out a signal which points that the iPhone 5 will be released around this time.
Another rumor that is circulating is that Apple will be producing two new iPhones. One will be a minor upgrade of the iPhone 4 which will be called iPhone 4s and the other will be a major upgrade called the iPhone 5. The iPhone 5 features will include Apple’s dual core A5 processor and an 8 megapixel camera. Other upgrades include the iOS 5 and new software features.
